Tomteboda, Office Building

When Tomteboda was made 1983 it was Swedens biggest and most modern post terminal. It was a working space where the environment for the employed was in focus with art and social meeting places, a meaningful heritage worth preserving. Now Tomteboda has gone through renovations on the inside of the house and created a modern working environment.

To the newly renovated office building we created a metal curtain out of metal mesh GR.716 with lock, which today embraces one of Tomtebodas restaurants. The metal curtains rail which is mounted on consoles, follows the frame of steel around the hub. To minimize the line-up space when the restaurant has opened, the metal curtain has been mounted on wheels with folding profiles.
