/ OsloTo the newly opened Clarion Hotel & Congress Oslo Airport in Gardemoen, we created metal curtains with lock made out of metal mesh GR.100 in brass Nordic Gold.
The metal mesh GR.100 is 76% open, which makes it easy to see through and have an open feeling even when the curtains are closed. The metal curtains are produced in two long parties and mounted with folding profiles and wheels in ceiling railings with special curves directly into the ceiling beam. The metal curtains are locked in the middle and is parked on either side of the bar when they are separated. As the metal curtains are mounted with wheels on folding profiles, the folding becomes wider as the parking space gets minimized to barely 15% of the metal curtains total length.
Products used
Metal mesh GR.14 (former GR.100) is made of bent metal wires. As the metal mesh is very light and has great transparency, it is suitable for furnishings such as ceilings, partitions, room dividers and metal curtains with or without locking.
Nordic gold is a material very similar to brass and which is an alloy of mostly copper but also aluminum, zinc and tin.
