Skellefteå Town Hall

For the rebuilt Town Hall in Skellefteå we have made a metal curtain in solid brass with lock for the Town Halls reception disc, drawn by MAF architect office. The metal curtain GR.100 has a big visibility which gives an open impression when it runs around the 9 meter long reception disc. When the reception is open and the brass curtain is pulled to the sides it is draped beautifully and becomes like a jewelry that completes the inviting decoration. The curtain is mounted with folding profiles and wheel in a ceiling rail made with steel, mounted directly to the false ceiling. When our curtains are mounted with folding profiles the metal curtains parking space is minimized to about 15% of the curtains length.
