The fire station in Midsommarkransen, in southern Stockholm, built in the 1940s, is today a school, where the buildings have been carefully restored. A modern school with inspiration from the fire station’s original architecture. For the school’s cafeteria, we have been commissioned to manufacture a stainless metal curtain with locking against the wall and counter. The metal curtain has great transparency and feels airy even when the cafeteria is closed.
Metal mesh D.9514 is made of wire spirals with welded edges. Flexible in one direction. As the wire in this metal mesh is relatively thin and light, the mesh is recommended for interior design. Metal mesh D is suitable for room dividers, ceilings, wall cladding, facades, products, metal curtains with or without locking, etc.
Stainless steel 316 is recommended for outdoor use.
