For the newly built hotel, Clarion Hotel The Pier in Gothenburg, Hotel Concept has created an interior with copper mesh ceiling fixtures, ceiling fixtures designed by MOD architects. These are custom made from custom made panels of our malleable metal mesh CAN.101 in copper. Metal mesh in the CAN series is a very thin metal mesh with great transparency, a choice of metal mesh that went very well with the warm interior and the custom-made fixtures.
Materials used
Metal mesh CAN.101 is made of small diameter metal wires to create a thin, transparent mesh. As it is very thin and very easy to bend, it is possible to sew in. It is extra grateful to illuminate and different shades of the metal mesh material appear depending on wich direction the metal mesh is illuminated from.
The metal mesh is suitable as wall cladding, screens, between glass, metal curtains, for absorbents, ceilings, products, etc.
Material standard: Stainless steel 316L. Also offered in combined materials: Mixed SS/Bronze, Mixed SS/Brass, Mixed SS/Copper, Mixed Stainless steel/Red enamelled and Mixed Aluminium/Red enamelled.
