Metal Mesh: C.812
Material: Flocked Stainless Steel
For the newly opened Fusion restaurant Fandado in Hammerby Sjöstad, Stockholm we were challenged to create and
flock big metal shields that works as room dividers made with metal mesh C.812 that was mounted with hooks on
powerful bars, inset from the false ceiling.
The result was a unique metal mesh installation with the flocked sound proofing material and the coral red
color as the prominent accent color in the restaurant. Flocking is a surface treatment with fibers that is
being applied on the metal mesh whos surface receives a velvet like surface which is durable and sound proofing,
works best as secure panels.
Metal mesh C.812 is made of wire spirals. The metal mesh is suitable for interior design such as wall cladding, room dividers, metal curtains etc. Mounted with advantage as panels or with folding profiles / wheels. The construction of the metal mesh means that the metal curtain “falls” aesthetically in waves when it is mounted with single wheels, in a contracted position against the floor approx. 50mm.
Stainless steel 316 is recommended for outdoor use.
