For the newly renovated restaurant Bryggeriet Avenyn in the central of Gothenburg, we have had the privilege of specially manufacturing almost 70 liner meters of metal mesh in combined material brass and copper. Metallnät DO.104 is one of our malleable metal mesh that in this project has been mounted in the ceiling like waves. A project in collaboration with Stylt Trampoli and LSI Projects. As the metal mesh is both pleated and illuminated, the metal mesh shimmers in a variety of varying shades and moiré effects of brass and copper tones.
Materials used
Metal mesh DO.104 is made of small diameter metal wires to create a thin, transparent mesh. As it is very thin and very easy to bend, it is possible to sew in. Different shades of brass and copper appear depending on which direction the metal mesh is illuminated from.
The metal mesh is suitable as wall cladding, screens, between glass, metalcurtains, for absorbents, ceilings, products, etc.
