Metal Mesh: GR.100
Material: Brass
The World culture museum is a museum in Göteborg that was built in 1999 together with the states museums for world culture.
For the museums shop we have created a metal curtain in brass with lock towards the wall. The metal curtain is created
with metal mesh GR.100 which has a great openness of 76%. The metal curtain and the rail is suspended from the
ceiling beams. The metal curtain embraces the shop and is parked next to the shop during day time when it is open.
With the metal curtains big transparity it creates an open and airy feeling even when the shop is closed and the metal
curtain is locked. When the metal curtain is draped the light is reflected further on to the parked metal mesh and with
help of folding profiles it creates a smaller parking space than with single wheel.
Metal mesh GR.14 (former GR.100) is made of bent metal wires. As the metal mesh is very light and has great transparency, it is suitable for furnishings such as ceilings, partitions, room dividers and metal curtains with or without locking.
Nordic gold is a material very similar to brass and which is an alloy of mostly copper but also aluminum, zinc and tin.
We offer the GR series in stainless steel with different wire sizes and with different sizes of openness, see mesh GR.10, GR.16 and GR.24.
